I met Rev. John Harrington before he was "Rev." John Harrington. I had gone to rehearse with someone for a wedding at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. O'Clee Lewis. He made it clear that he had already cleaned the church.
Sometime later, he preached his initial sermon. He served FAITHFULLY under Rev. James Williams, and the church's current Pastor. I rember seing him in one of the area Walmarts a dew years ago and he informed me that he was the Senior Associate Minister at Antioch, a position well deserved, in my opinion. "The great among you shall be your servant."
Our sincerest condolences to the family. He will be greatly missed.
